The correct frame size is crucial for your comfort and riding style. To find a suitable refurbished e-bike, your inseam length is particularly important in addition to your height.

To calculate the frame size, you must first measure your inseam length. To do this, stand barefoot and as upright as possible with your back against a wall. Then, clamp a thick book between your thighs, so that you are sitting on the spine of the book in your crotch as if on a saddle. Ideally, a second person will help you measure your inner leg length from the floor to the top edge of the book spine with a tape measure.

Multiply the result by a factor (for city and trekking bikes 0.66; for mountain bikes 0.55) to calculate the recommended frame size in cm.

Example calculation:

You have an inseam length of 85 cm and want to buy a refurbished e-mountain bike. To determine the right frame size, you calculate:

85 cm × 0.55 = 46.75 cm

Thus, the correct frame size is 47 cm.

Defective or worn parts are replaced according to the following criteria:

- Brake pads: Replaced when the manufacturer-defined wear limit is reached
- Brake disc: Replaced when the manufacturer-defined wear limit is reached
- Tires: Replaced if there is noticeable wear or damage
- Chain: Replaced if elongation exceeds tolerance limit (depending on gear type)
- Chainring/Sprocket: Replaced if deformed or damaged
- Grips: Replaced if there is noticeable wear or damage
- Pedals: Replaced if there is noticeable wear or damage
- Battery/Motor/Display/Control unit: Replaced if damaged or malfunctioning
- Other parts not listed: Replaced if there is noticeable wear, manufacturer-defined wear limit, or damage

The bikes may show minor, usage-related signs of wear (visual condition according to shop specifications or pictures).
