AMS Hybrid ONE44 C:68X Race 400X 29 blackline

The correct frame size is crucial for your comfort and riding style. To find a suitable refurbished e-bike, your inseam length is particularly important in addition to your height.

To calculate the frame size, you must first measure your inseam length. To do this, stand barefoot and as upright as possible with your back against a wall. Then, clamp a thick book between your thighs, so that you are sitting on the spine of the book in your crotch as if on a saddle. Ideally, a second person will help you measure your inner leg length from the floor to the top edge of the book spine with a tape measure.

Multiply the result by a factor (for city and trekking bikes 0.66; for mountain bikes 0.55) to calculate the recommended frame size in cm.

Example calculation:

You have an inseam length of 85 cm and want to buy a refurbished e-mountain bike. To determine the right frame size, you calculate:

85 cm × 0.55 = 46.75 cm

Thus, the correct frame size is 47 cm.

Which of our refurbished e-bikes is right for you primarily depends on how you intend to use it. For city riding, a city or trekking bike with a moderate motor is often sufficient. For hilly terrain or sporty tours, a stronger motor with more torque or a frame with robust suspension makes sense.

By considering the following points when buying, you can significantly narrow down your choices and find the right e-bike:

• Frame size and geometry must match your height and riding posture.
• Motor and battery are crucial for the riding experience and range – the more support and capacity, the longer and more powerfully you can ride.
• Do you need a pannier rack, mudguards, or lights? Choose a model whose features meet your daily requirements.
• Weight and handling are particularly important in everyday life. If you have to carry your e-bike or often maneuver it in the city, you should pay attention to this.
